SALES

Edge is transforming how the world sees protective eyewear through the outdoor industry and we are hungry for new talent! The outside sales team is seeking a proven, tactical, and strategic Outdoor National Sales Manager to support our sales operation.
Your primary responsibility is to negotiate and improve agreements with large box store chains and key accounts to expand the Edge Eyewear in store and digital footprint. The best candidate will take a consultative sales approach and help determine the integration requirements to assist in launching our product. You will develop the negotiating strategy and own the negotiations end-to-end and be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines.
This individual will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership, business development, product development, forecasting, procurement, negotiations, and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. You can work at the strategic and tactical level, generating ideas and strategies to gain new business. In this role you will:
• Drive sales, profitability, and awareness of Edge Eyewear products to drive revenue and increase sales by $1.2-$1.5 million.
• Research new vendors for products and services by seeking to establish new business relationships. This can be done via cold calls, tradeshows, internet searches, industry intelligence, etc.
• Lead sales strategy and create strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to implement promotional strategies.
• Create data driven analysis and forecasting documents to be well versed in fact-based sales techniques while presenting to potential vendors.
• Attend and manage tradeshow opportunities. Determine best fit to reach sales targets with measurable ROI.

About You:
• Ideal candidate will have a high understanding of the hunt/fish and outdoor space and have familiarity with selling techniques to gain new business.
• Strong presentation skills. Must be effective in a variety of formal presentation settings outside of the company to incorporate all levels of brand marketing plans.

• 2-5 years of experience in a sales environment required.

Customer Service

The eCommerce Customer Experience Specialist must be a highly motivated individual who is eager to grow a new channel of direct business with our consumer. Provides service to end users including answering questions via phone, email, and chat. Communicates with internal personnel regarding the completion of customer orders and the resolution of customer questions or problems. Supports Marketing and Sales Operations staff in ensuring orders processed are completed to customers' satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, the ability to master new computer programs, can multitask and complete projects in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Process orders, manage inventory, create shipments, communicate with clients on the status of their orders; Provide tracking and fulfillment updates on orders that have shipped for all of our eCommerce channels daily
• Assist clients with selecting product that will meet their needs; Offer suggestions/substitutions when items are backordered
• Assist inventory management with check on availability of product, delivery, or cost
• Work with Warehouse to ensure that orders ship in a timely manner
• Answers customer service calls, questions, and complaints in a prompt manner and according to Policy and procedure
• Initiate internal communications and information related to the service of clients and the completion of their transactions
• Facilitate orders through EDI portal with SPS commerce for support of the EDI Program Manager
• Process orders and create shipments for distribution customers, direct sale customers, global and domestic
• Follow the security and other operational procedures for the computer and point of sale environment
• Maintain filing systems and organization of paperwork as needed; maintain standards for electronic documents and nomenclature
• Assist with Data entry, updates and projects for Sales, IT, Purchasing and Accounting as needed

Education, Training, Skills and Experience Requirements:
• Previous experience working in a high-volume customer service function in a retail or manufacturing environment.
• Successful execution of customer orders in an eCommerce setting
• Excellent organizational skills and communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of Eyewear products would be helpful.

Performance Measurements:
• Customer documents, records and reports are prepared, maintained, and processed accurately and in a timely manner; less than 1% error rate and 95% of orders turned around within 2 business days
• Customer Satisfaction levels kept at set KPI levels
• Normal and expected attendance during days and hours of operation
• Department files are appropriately maintained
• Good communication and coordination with both internal and external customers
• Management is appropriately informed of area activities; issues are elevated quickly to manager for resolution

Product + Design

Edge Eyewear is transforming how the world sees protective eyewear and we are hungry for new talent! The product development team is seeking an entry level candidate to fill our Design Engineer role. Your primary responsibility will be to create new eyewear product assisting in the development of the concept and ensuring completion utilizing the New Product Offering process (NPO). Collaborate with Industrial Designer to develop new eyewear products, create approved product defined in new product design brief. Create robust defined CAD models, Define DFM/DFA attributes of product. Improve existing products as needed. Design/Engineering:
• Assist in the development of new products to for our Safety, Tactical, Outdoor Product lines at Edge Eyewear
• Create in SolidWorks Cad Models of Parts, Assemblies and Drawings to provide detailed high quality CAD models and drawing specifications
• Develop product features defined in the Design brief for the Engineering phase ensuring DFA/DFM is achieved
• Modify and change current products as needed
• Designs include, injection molded parts, lens specifications and development definitions, manufacturing support, fully defined part models and assemblies.
• Assist in the development of testing equipment and tools
• Utilize Additive 3D print technology, for samples, test models, manufacturing tooling

• Research new concepts, materials, products, manufacturing process including additive technology
• Challenge the status quo on everything and assist the team with continuous improvement efforts

Design Verification:
• Conceptualize and create testing equipment and processes to ensure product verification in house per standard specifications

Sourcing:
• Assist in finding, qualify and build new supplier relationships to support strategy objectives

• Assist in maintaining compliance to safety standards in all current and potential markets per design specifications
Quality:
• Support the Edge Eyewear QMS system by assisting in the standardized testing for each requirement defined in the design brief
• Ensure suppliers with lab capacity and validation process to ensure products are compliant to the required standards per design specifications.
• Coordinate with potential new suppliers or vendors to ensure the suppliers are meeting required specifications and lead times.

• The ideal candidate will have a 4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 years of SolidWorks Product Development experience.

We are looking for Warehouse Workers to participate in our operations and production activities to include storing materials, picking, packing, scanning, and shipping orders. The Edge Eyewear mission is to protect eyesight across all industries by bridging the gap between safety and fashion, blending technology with design and comfort, and increasing eye safety awareness along the way. In this role you will:

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
Process miscellaneous ship requests.
Complete daily production items along with demand
Complete projects for warehouse and production as needed.
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
Unload containers of inventory 3-4 times monthly while organizing items by pallet.
Perform inventory counts and controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
Report any discrepancies to Warehouse manager and/or Purchasing Dept.
Other duties and projects as assigned by managers.

About You:

High School Diploma or equivalent
1 - 3 years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
Shipping software knowledge
Android based scanner knowledge of operation.
Ability to navigate the internet and web pages.
Forklift certified.
Ability to lift 20-50 lbs, sit, stand, bend at knee, bend at back.
