Frames that feature Edge-Flex™, like the Makalu, offer a tailored, custom-like fit. This technology employs a floating thermoplastic rubber (TPR) element in the temples that provides comfort-improving compliance. Edge-Flex™ can stop pinching behind the ears, while simultaneously limiting slipping and reducing overall weight.

How is the Makalu Compatible With Rx?
The Makalu is compatible with our universal prescription lens insert. This clips to the nosepiece of the Makalu and carries two small prescription lenses on the inside of the Makalu's ANSI-rated polycarbonate lens. Find the Rx insert under the accessories section of our website.

RX Compatible
