FAQs

What is Vapor Shield?

Vapor Shield is the name of our anti-fog technology.

Are These Safety Rated?

Yes. The Overlord G2 is rated to the military protective standard (MIL-PRF 32432-A), as well as ANSI’s Z87+ high-impact safety standard.

What is TPR?
Thermoplastic rubber (TPR) is a compound that becomes tacky when exposed to moisture. It's utilized in the Overlord G2's nosepiece to limit slipping and improve comfort.

What are G-15 Lenses?
The “G” in G-15 refers to a green-colored tint of the lens. The “15” refers to the visible light transmission (VLT) of the lens. Therefore, G-15 lenses are those that have a green tint and block 85% of visible light.

What Does the Overlord G2 Come With?
A hard case and eyewear retainers are included with your purchase of the Overlord G2.

Wasn't This Style Called "Arc Light?"
Yes. This style was previously known as Arc Light. We’ve updated the name as part of a broader naming transition, but the product itself, design, fit and protection, remains unchanged.

Features + Technology

Optional Polarized Lenses

Available polarized lenses cut down on excess glare, especially when driving or working around bright, reflective surfaces. Just look for polarized lenses in the product option to experience glare-free performance in an ANSI Z87+-rated frame style.

Adjustable Nosepiece

An adjustable nosepiece allows for a customizable fit. The result? A pair of safety-rated eyewear you’ll never want to be without. Plus, the soft thermoplastic rubber (TPR) material that our adjustable nosepieces feature provide anti-slip performance.

Thin Temple Technology

Our thin temples integrate more comfortably with helmets, hats or hearing protection. By reducing bulk from the cross-section of the temples, the frames slide comfortably under other personal protective equipment or headwear.

Great Range Glasses

"These fit great and so far, they work great for me!"

Marc S. (5/5)

The Best Tactical glasses

"Love the design and fit of this pair of glasses. I got the Tan frame with the Photochromic lens and I really Love how it transitioned from clear to dark in less than a minute. I highly recommend these Overlord G2 đź’Ż%"

Inoke Y. (5/5)

"Works great at the range! No more fogging up."

Jachin (5/5)

The arms of the glasses

"The arms of the glasses are flimsy and I don't think they will last. The lenses seem to be pretty good and give a sharp field of vision. It would be nice to see the G10 or G15 lenses offered on other heavier frames. I have some concerns about their durability."

Chris B. (3/5)

Solid glasses.

"Solid glasses use them all the time. Shooting, sitting, running, in class, just always. Comfy too."

Jake T. (5/5)

"Love them"

Jachin (5/5)

Protection over the eyes is

"Protection over the eyes is very good. Fit is good . Large ear peaces are better than the small ones. They are very easy to change out. I would like to have more options with sunglass color . Lighter color options. Overall very good protection."

Jimmy B. (5/5)

Go-fast glasses

"These fit my face great. Perfectly close but enough ventilation to help with fogging."

Dave N. (5/5)

Tremendous value

"My best shooting glasses of the three pair that I have. Super clear. The extra pair of temples ( longer) made them very comfortable under ear muffs."

Timothy B. (5/5)

Edge Arc is garbage.

"Need replacement lense options. Lense is trash. Scratches easily and doesn't hold up to grit and dusty environment. Frame fits terribly. Made in Taiwan. Trash"
