FAQs

What is Vapor Shield?

Vapor Shield is the name of our anti-fog technology. It inhibits fogging in hot, cold and humid conditions and, because it's infused into the lenses during manufacturing, outlasts topical anti-fog coatings.

Are These Safety Rated?

Yes. The Super 64 is rated to the military protective standard (MIL-PRF 32432-A), as well as ANSI’s Z87+ high-impact safety standard and other worldwide safety standards.

What is TPR?
Thermoplastic rubber (TPR) is a compound that becomes tacky when exposed to moisture. The Super 64 comes with a full TPR gasket around the entire frame to keep airborne debris and hazards out.

Features + Technology

Ballistic Protection

Military-grade, ballistic-rated impact protection for high-risk environments comes standard. Tested in an independent lab for MIL-PRF 32432-A, EN 166 and ANSI Z87.1+ compliance, vision is protected in the face of the most extreme threats.

Vapor Shield Anti-Fog

Our standard anti-fog technology performs in even the coldest, hottest or most humid environments. Unlike other anti-fogs, Vapor Shield is infused into the lens, ensuring a long-lasting and durable solution to stop the buildup of fog-causing water vapor.

Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) Gasket

A soft thermoplastic rubber (TPR) gasket keeps airborne debris and other hazards at bay, while improving comfort.

Perfect for work!

"I recently picked up a pair of Edge Eyewear, and they’ve been excellent for lawncare and landscape work. They have a sporty, modern look, but more importantly they’re tough, protective, and extremely comfortable to wear all day. The lenses stay clear and resist fogging, even when working hard in the heat. They feel solid, fit great, and give that “edgy” performance style while still being practical for real work outside. If you’re looking for reliable eye protection that actually looks good, Edge Eyewear is a great choice. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone working outdoors."

looks useful

"I’m in the market for anti-fogging lenses. These appear to provide an effective anti-fog feature plus they should protect from over exposure to radiant solar energy."

Michael M. (3/5)

Disappointed

"I work in the arctic and had high hopes for these goggles. They performed much better than other goggles I've used as far as mitigating fogging, but fog still began to form after a few minutes of using them while running around. Furthermore, I broke the strap after about an hour... be advised, the strap is made out of a flimsy swimmer goggle strap type material and if you tug on it (IE to take off the goggles and place them on a helmet) it will break."
