Meet Edge's New Outdoor Collection

Meet Edge's New Outdoor Collection

Our customers have used our safety glasses and tactical eyewear for countless adventures away from the job site or shooting range. Craftspeople, tradesman and first responders alike have welcomed the durability and impact resistance of our protective eyewear to help defend their vision on the job and in the field for more than 20 years. Now, we've married our trademark durability and protective technology with frame styles fit for the masses.

We've designed, tested and evaluated durable eyewear built specifically for an outdoor lifestyle. We leaned on our more than 20 years of eyewear design experience to bring a different option to people searching for durable sunglasses.

We’re proud to present five new frame styles we’ve painstakingly designed and refined during the past two years.

We researched the specific eye protection needs of those living lives outside walls and found gaps in the market. We designed our new outdoor sunglasses to fill all the unmet needs.

Then we tested our new glasses. And then refined them. Now, they’re ready to prove to the world that outdoor eyewear should be built better.

Our outdoor eyewear is built for more durability, style and protection than any others you’ve seen before.

The Edge outdoor collection features five new brave frame styles. And they’re all made of the same high impact and durable materials as our safety eyewear. While not all our new outdoor sunglasses are compliant with ANSI’s Z87.1 safety standards, they share the durability and front impact resistance as our safety glasses and ballistic eyewear.

Where do our new outdoor sunglasses land on safety ratings then? The Revelstoke sports an ANSI Z87.1+ rating—for complete job site compliance. Same with our Defiance.

The Whitikar, Harding, Highline and Renshaw are not ANSI Z87.1 approved, although they are made of the same impact-resistant lenses and durable frames as all our safety and tactical products. The flatter shapes of these frame styles simply don’t offer adequate side coverage to pass ANSI’s testing protocols for peripheral impact protection.

Looking to hook into some fishing sunglasses? Splash into the Whitikar. On the hunt for the perfect hunting companion, or for just stalking around town? Scope out the Highline. The Revelstoke is a trusty companion for nearly any adventure (or job site, with its Z87+ rating). And the Harding and Renshaw represent a brave new take on sunglasses specifically designed for the needs of ladies on the go.

Explore all our new outdoor frame styles and feel the Edge difference. We’ll help answer all the questions you may have about our new outdoor collection here.
