FAQs

What is Vapor Shield?

Vapor Shield is the name of our anti-fog technology.

Are These Safety Rated?

Yes. The Blade Runner is rated to the military protective standard (MIL-PRF 32432-A), as well as ANSI’s Z87+ high-impact safety standard.

What is TPR?
Thermoplastic rubber (TPR) is a compound that becomes tacky when exposed to moisture. It's utilized in the Blade Runner's nose pads to limit slipping and improve comfort.

What are G-15 Lenses?
The “G” in G-15 refers to a green-colored tint of the lens. The “15” refers to the visible light transmission (VLT) of the lens. Therefore, G-15 lenses are those that have green tint and block 85% of visible light.

Features + Technology

Ballistic Protection

Military-grade, ballistic-rated impact protection for high-risk environments comes standard. Tested in an independent lab for MIL-PRF 32432-A, EN 166 and ANSI Z87.1+ compliance, vision is protected in the face of the most extreme threats.

Optional Polarized Lenses

Available polarized lenses cut down on excess glare, especially when driving or working around bright, reflective surfaces. Just look for polarized lenses in the product option to experience glare-free performance in an ANSI Z87+-rated frame style.

Anti-Slip Nose Pads

Thermoplastic rubber (TPR) nose pads provide anti-slip performance, unrivaled comfort and a secure fit. Plus, TPR becomes tacky when exposed to moisture, so there’s no more worrying about losing your glasses when things get sweaty.
